Shooting in Birmingham Entertainment District Leaves Four Dead, Many Wounded #

A shooting incident occurred in a popular entertainment district near a university campus in Birmingham on Saturday night. The attack resulted in four fatalities and dozens of injuries. Law enforcement is currently searching for the perpetrators.

The incident took place in the Five Points South area of Birmingham shortly after 11 p.m. Three victims were pronounced dead at the scene, while a fourth succumbed to injuries at a nearby hospital.

Among the dozens of victims, at least four are reported to have life-threatening injuries. All victims were either on the sidewalk or in the street when the shooting occurred.

The method of attack, whether the gunmen were on foot or in a vehicle, remains unclear.
